The Kill Devil Grill (KDG), located in the heart of the Outer Banks in Kill Devil Hills, has been a local favorite since 2002. The restaurant was established when Bill Tucker purchased a previous dining spot and transformed it into what would become one of the area’s most iconic eateries. Alongside his wife Liz, Bill ran The Kill Devil Grill for over 21 years, building a reputation for exceptional food, friendly service, and a fun, laid-back atmosphere.
Known for its retro diner charm and creative takes on fresh seafood and American classics, KDG has drawn both locals and visitors alike year after year. In July 2023, the restaurant entered a new chapter under Iconic Restaurant Group’s ownership, continuing the tradition of great food and warm hospitality that the community has come to love.
